Metro System Academy (MSA) UTHM recently participated in Hari TVET Negara 2026. Held over three dynamic days from 5 to 7 June 2026 at Dataran Putrajaya, the event served as a massive celebration of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) excellence in Malaysia.
Operating daily from 9 AM to 10 PM at Booth No. 6, Hab 1 (Sektor Rel & Maritim), the MSA UTHM team stood tall alongside key industry stakeholders, welcoming young talents, industry partners, and the public to share our vision for the future of national rail education.
Engaging Tomorrow’s Pioneers
Our team spent the time engaging directly with visitors, including young students and aspiring professionals, introducing them to our tailored rail certification courses. The team actively shared insights on how MSA UTHM supports the national rail industry by offering robust workforce planning initiatives and upskilling programs to meet modern infrastructure demands.
We were honored to receive a series of distinguished visits from top university management and innovation leaders. We were deeply honored to welcome and host several VIP guests at our booth, including:
- Dato’ Sri Ibrahim bin Ahmad – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).
- Prof. Eur Ing. Ir. Ts. Dr. Shahiron bin Shahidan – Director of the Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (ICC), UTHM.
- Ts. Dr. Mohamad Azim bin Mohammad Azmi – Deputy Director (Innovation Services), ICC UTHM.
